About Us - OnlineGameWeb

Meet the Gamers Behind OnlineGameWeb

Welcome to OnlineGameWeb, where two gaming enthusiasts have turned their love for browser games into a platform dedicated to delivering quality, free gaming experiences to players around the world.

Our Story: How OnlineGameWeb Was Born

Founded:

January 2025

Location:

A Quiet Corner of the World

Founders:

Chirag Dudhat and Sanjay Mer

In early 2025, two friends who had spent years playing browser games during breaks from work and college realized that something was missing in the world of online gaming. Despite thousands of browser games in existence, players struggle to find quality games that work well on mobile, are free of intrusive ads, and provide fun gameplay.

"We were tired of clicking on games that looked good, but were actually bad, didn't work on our phones, or were filled with so many ads that they were impossible to play," explains co-founder and technical lead Chirag Dudhat.

"We knew we could build something better, a platform where each game could be tested and played individually."

This small frustration became the inspiration for OnlineGameWeb.

We started with some classic favorites, like Sudoku, word matches, basic arithmetic, skill games, and brain teasers. Chirag and Sanjay went on to build a carefully curated collection of over 35 browser games. Each game is rigorously tested on multiple devices before being featured on the platform.

"We don't add games just because they exist,"

says co-founder and content director Sanjay Mer. "Every game you see on OnlineGameWeb, we have played it for at least 30 minutes on different devices each. If we don't like it, we don't launch it on the site. That's it."

Today, OnlineGameWeb offers players in India and around the world puzzle games, word games, brain training challenges, and strategy games - all free, all tested, and all instantly playable in your browser.

Meet Our Team

Chirag Dudhat

Co-Founder and Technical Lead

Gaming Background:

Chirag has been passionate about browser games for over 5 years, starting with Sudoku during his college days, where he studied computer engineering. What started as a short puzzle break between study sessions has blossomed into a deep appreciation for well-designed, easy-to-play gaming experiences.

"I've probably played thousands of hours of browser games across hundreds of different titles," explains Chirag. "From classic puzzle games like Sudoku and 2048 to strategy games like Chess and Reversi, I've tested everything. I know what makes a browser game great and what makes players close the tab immediately."

Professional Experience:

Before co-founding OnlineGameWeb, Chirag worked as a web developer at Include Technology for three years, specializing in responsive design and mobile-first development. This technical background was essential in creating a gaming platform that worked seamlessly across devices and browsers.

"My development experience taught me that if something doesn't work on mobile, you lose 60% of your audience before they even start playing, which is why every game on OnlineGameWeb is extensively tested on smartphones, tablets, and desktops."

Gaming Skills:

  • Favorite categories: Puzzle games, logic games, strategy games
  • Favorite games: Chess (playing since age 12), Sudoku, 2048
  • Daily gaming habits: Test 5-10 new games per week
  • Mobile vs. desktop: 70% mobile gaming, 30% desktop
  • Testing principle: "If it doesn't load in 5 seconds, players won't wait. If it gets boring in 30 seconds, they won't quit."

Personal Note:

"My favorite game on OnlineGameWeb is chess. I've been playing chess since I was 12, and our browser version has adjustable AI difficulty, making it suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced players. I play at least one game every day during my lunch break."

Sanjay Mer

Co-Founder and Technical Lead

Gaming Background:

Sanjay has been passionate about games, especially word games and educational puzzles, for over 8 years. Early in my career, when I was teaching computer science in schools, I saw firsthand how games could make learning fun and effective.

"I started using word games and puzzles in my classes around 2015," Sanjay recalls. "I noticed that students who were struggling with vocabulary suddenly became excited when words were presented as games. That's when I realized the power of combining education with entertainment."

This educational background influences how OnlineGameWeb evaluates each game it features.

Professional Experience:

Sanjay comes from a strong technical background, specializing in mobile and cross-platform app development. He has practical skills in:

  • Java and Kotlin for native Android development
  • React Native for cross-platform mobile apps
  • Flutter for high-performance, UI-driven apps

"As a former teacher, you learn very quickly what works and what doesn't," says Sanjay. "You can see it on the students' faces in the first 30 seconds. Games should have that same immediate appeal -- clear instructions, simple gameplay, and a challenge that's just right."

Gaming Skills:

  • Favorite Categories: Word Games, Brain Training, Educational Games
  • Favorite Games: Word Search, Word Boss, Memory Games
  • Daily Gaming Habit: Plays word games 30-45 minutes a day
  • Primary Platform: Mobile-first testing approach
  • Content Philosophy: "Every game makes you smile and makes you smarter."

Personal Note:

"I've been creating and playing word searches for my own enjoyment for over 8 years. Our word search game at OnlineGameWeb is special because it combines the classic puzzle format with a modern, responsive design. I still play it every morning with my coffee!"

Our Game Selection Process

Not every browser game makes it onto OnlineGameWeb. In fact, we reject about 80% of games we test. Here's our selection process that ensures only quality games reach our players.

Step 1: Discovery & Research

We find potential games through:

  • Testing 50-100 new browser games every month
  • Community recommendations from our players
  • Monitoring gaming platforms and HTML5 game directories
  • Following industry trends and emerging game mechanics
  • Researching educational gaming best practices

Step 2: Initial Quality Screening

Before we even start playing, we check:

  • Technical Requirements: HTML5-based, no Flash, no downloads
  • Mobile Compatibility: Must work on smartphones
  • Security: No suspicious code, malware, or data collection
  • Content Appropriateness: Family-friendly, all-ages suitable

About 50% of games fail this initial screening.

Step 3: Comprehensive Testing (30-Minute Minimum)

Every game that passes screening undergoes extensive hands-on testing:

Technical Testing:

  • Works perfectly on mobile phones (iOS & Android)
  • Works on tablets (iPad, Android tablets)
  • Works on desktop/laptop (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Loads in under 5 seconds on average connection
  • No game-breaking bugs or glitches
  • Responsive controls (touch, mouse, keyboard work correctly)

User Experience Testing:

  • Instructions are clear and easy to understand
  • Gameplay is genuinely fun and engaging
  • Difficulty curve is appropriate (not too easy, not frustrating)
  • Game objective is immediately clear
  • Visual design is clean and professional
  • Sound effects (if any) aren't annoying
  • Engaging enough to play for 15+ minutes

Educational Value Check:

  • • Does the game build skills (memory, vocabulary, logic)?
  • • Is it appropriate for different age groups?
  • • Does it provide mental stimulation?
  • • Can it be used in educational settings?

Step 4: The 30-Minute Rule

Here's our most important test: We play each game for a minimum of 30 minutes straight.

Why 30 minutes? Because that's the average browser gaming session. If we get bored, frustrated, or want to quit before 30 minutes, the game doesn't make the list - no matter how popular it is elsewhere.

"We've rejected dozens of games that looked good on paper but just weren't fun after the first few minutes," Chirag explains. "Our 30-minute rule is non-negotiable."

Step 5: Game Maintenance

Our quality control doesn't stop after launch. Every single game is retested on daily basis to ensure:

  • Links still work
  • Game loads properly
  • No new bugs have appeared
  • Mobile compatibility is maintained
  • Performance hasn't degraded

What Makes OnlineGameWeb Different

1. Real Gamers, Real Testing

We're not a content aggregator that scrapes games from other sites without playing them. Chirag and Sanjay personally test every single game. The descriptions, tips, and recommendations you read come from actual gameplay experience.

When you read "This game is perfect for quick 5-minute breaks," it's because we've actually played it during our breaks.

2. Built Mobile-First for Modern Players

OnlineGameWeb launched in 2025, designed from day one for mobile players. Unlike sites built in the Flash era and retrofitted for mobile, every aspect of our platform was created with smartphone users in mind.

"We test every game on a 3-year-old budget smartphone first," Chirag explains. "If it works there, it'll work everywhere."

3. No Downloads, Ever

We exclusively feature games that run directly in your browser. No Flash. No plugins. No downloads. No installations. No app required. No registration needed.

Just visit, click, and play. That's it.

4. Educational Value Meets Entertainment

Both founders believe in the cognitive benefits of gaming. Every game on OnlineGameWeb offers mental stimulation:

  • Puzzle Games: Develop problem-solving and logical thinking
  • Word Games: Build vocabulary and language skills
  • Memory Games: Improve recall and cognitive function
  • Strategy Games: Enhance planning and tactical thinking
  • Math Games: Strengthen arithmetic and numerical reasoning

"We prioritize games that make you smarter while entertaining you," says Sanjay. "Entertainment and education shouldn't be separate."
